Michael Steele becomes RNC chair

I’ve got to say, I wouldn’t have predicted he’d actually win.  I don’t really have any strong feelings on Steele either way, despite his being a Maryland politician.  He served as Lt. Governor under Bob Ehrlich.  Under Gov. Ehrlich’s administration the Maryland police spied on a wide range of activist groups including Amnesty International.  That said, I haven’t heard any evidence Steele was tied to that.  Hopefully he’ll make people forget we were also responsible for Alan Keyes. 

I don’t say this often, but good on you GOP.
